Anthropic puts its most powerful model Claude Mythos 5 to work for cyber defense

Anthropic is now running its security scanner Claude Security on Claude Mythos 5. The tool scans codebases for vulnerabilities and suggests patches, available in public beta for Enterprise customers.

Scans count as normal token usage. Each finding includes a CWE category (a standard way to classify software flaws), severity ratings, and a suggested fix. Humans still have to sign off on every patch. Claude Mythos is Anthropic’s most capable model, especially for cyber tasks, which is why it’s not broadly available.
